WHAT’S ON TAP?
Lone Pine – Glitter Beard (IPA - Imperial / Double)
Brewed with healthy doses of Ella, Strata and loads of high protein grains, giving this beer an exceptionally soft mouthfeel.
Glitter Beard pours a subdued hazy gold, with a head that dissipates quickly but rings the glass. Light aromas of mango, tropical candy, and watermelon citrus. An excessively soft bitterness hides behind elevated amounts of oats and wheat. Notes of cantaloupe and white grapes peek through the downy soft mouthfeel to complete this deceptively smooth Double IPA.
Stone – Tangerine Express (IPA - American)
Formerly known as Stone Tangerine Express IPA.
This ain’t no just-add-juice approach. This one is for adults. We use bountiful whole tangerine purée, which brings pithy, crisp bitterness to the citrus flavor. In addition to the complexities of the tangerine — the likes of which you can only get by using the whole fruit — we judiciously employ just a hint of whole pineapple for a backnote (you’d likely not even pick it out of the mix if we didn’t tell you it was there). We’re not looking for a sweet concoction to appease the “I want my beer to taste like fruit juice” crowd. This is Stone. We like our IPAs to taste like IPAs. Big, bold and not for kids.
Sam Adams – Summer Ale (Pale Wheat Ale - American)
Samuel Adams® Summer Ale is an American wheat ale. This hazy golden unfiltered brew combines crisp wheat with the bright citrus of lemon peel and the subtle spice of Grains of Paradise. This rare African pepper, closely related to cardamom, was first used as a brewing spice in the 13th Century and adds just the right peppery kick. All of these flavors come together to create a thirst quenching and utterly refreshing brew perfect for those warm summer days.
Nebco – Gold Stock Ale (Golden Ale)
A truly unique beer here. A German style pale ale brewed up during colder months with Noble hops and some American hops tossed in for good measure. But hold on, Bub. The resulting grassy/earth-y notes that blend well with the citrus/lemon flavors are then married further by letting the whole deal ferment on lightly toasted oak chips for an amazing, individual taste.
Cigar City – Maduro Brown (Brown Ale - English)
Maduro is a Northern English-style brown ale with some American affectations. Maduro is higher in alcohol than the common English brown ale and features flaked oats in the malt bill which imparts a silky body and works to mesh the roasted, toasted and chocolate components together in Maduro’s complex malt profile. The end result is a remarkably full-flavored yet approachable and sessionable brown ale that pairs well with mild to medium cigars
Guinness (Stout - Irish Dry)
Swirling clouds tumble as the storm begins to calm. Settle. Breathe in the moment, then break through the smooth, light head to the bittersweet reward.
Unmistakeably GUINNESS, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop. And every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between.
Pure beauty. Pure GUINNESS.
Guinness Draught is sold in kegs, widget cans, and bottles. The ABV varies from 4.1 to 4.3%.
Guinness Extra Cold is the exact same beer only served through a super cooler at 3.5 °C
New England – Sea Hag (IPA - American)
A ghostly apparition reportedly skirts the shores of New Haven harbor; a whispy widow eternally searching for her lost-at-sea husband. It is truly a sad tale of loss. But hey! At least she’s got a beer named after her, huh? Our flagship beer pours in with a citrus, fruity nose and a crisp floral finish that is well balanced with it’s Pilsner, Munich, and Crystal malt blend
